Going To Bali, Indonesia?  In this installment of our Bali Travel Guide Series, we share our review of Eden Hotel where we stayed for a night in Kuta Bali.

Eden Hotel Kuta Bali – Detailed Review

For our recent Bali trip, we had stayed in two different hotels – one in Eden Hotel in Kuta on the night where we arrived on our KLM flight and the other two nights in Bhavana Private Villas in Seminyak.

Fantastic Location – Near to Airport and Shopping

Eden Hotel is strategically located in Kuta, 10 minutes away from the airport. By that, we meant that those 10 mins were spent navigating the small alleys of Kuta at a slow speed and not cruising along an expressway, so you can imagine how near it was to the airport. There’s also Kuta Beach and Discovery Shopping Mall nearby for some leisurely activity. Unfortunately, due to our limited trip duration, we didn’t have time to drop by the mall.

Great Service – Efficient Check In

We had a late afternoon flight to Bali and consequently reached only at 9pm.  Even at that late hour, check-in was fast and efficient.

The Relaxing Green Room

We loved this room from the moment we stepped in.  Though the furnishings were undoubtedly a little worn-out, the room was still relatively clean and well-kept.   The most pleasing aspect of the room was its relaxing greenish hue that exudes class and style.

Enjoying our first Bali night breeze at our balcony.  The night view was amazing.

The green theme extends to the bathroom.

Complimentary bottled water for brushing teeth.  The rest were not complimentary.

A safe and slippers were provided.

One of those things that you must try in Bali are their massages, and almost every hotel or villa that you stay in would offer such services.  The rates differ from hotel to hotel, but they should be around S$20 – S$25 (after taxes) for a 60min massage for each person.   Wished we had time to try the massages here at the Eden, but there just wasn’t time given that we stayed here for just a night.

If you arrive on a evening flight like us, you might want to order room service if you feel hungry. Prices seem quite reasonable.

Finally we could have a good look at Eden Hotel at day break. It actually feels like staying in a condominium in Singapore.

For pool-lovers, the ground floor rooms opens directly to a shallow pool.  It would be a bit noisy though, and I secretly counted my blessings that we were on a high floor.
