Looking for a unique place to celebrate that special occasion? Look no further than Artemis Grill, one of the best places for sky dining in Singapore.
Nestled in the middle of Singapore’s Central Business District (CBD), Artemis was an oasis of peace and calm when we walked in just before sunset. Surrounded by greenery and tastefully furnished, the outdoor bar at Artemis exudes its own brand of peaceful charm which was hard to ignore.
While the outdoor terrace was perfect for socializing and chilling out, we preferred some quiet moments by ourselves as we watched the world go by beneath our feet, 40 storeys above the hustle and bustle of the CBD.
At the indoor dining area, the breathtaking view of the skyline of the Marina Bay area was as charming in the daytime as it was at night.

As night falls, the view starts to get even better!
Artemis draws great pride from the fact that only the best ingredients sourced painstakingly from around the world are used for their Mediterranean dishes. That effort is reflected in how delicately refined each of their dishes are.
Let the Gastronomic Indulgence begin!
The meal started with complimentary Homemade Bread with Dukkah Spice and Olive Oil Dips.
Fresh off the Raw Bar was the Wild Seabass Sashimi with corsican coppa, finger lime and avocado mousse (SGD $42). Delightfully fresh and beautifully plated, this was one of the best appetizers to start off with.
Heirloom Beetroots, with buttermilk beetroot horseradish ice-cream, walnut, shropshire cheese, saba & marsala reduction (SGD $22). The use of horseradish ice-cream was already a unique point in itself, and the presentation of the dish was a winning piece of artwork.
Chargrilled Spanish Octopus with confit cherry tomatoes, preserved lemon and pickled padron peppers (SGD $22). According to the maître, this is one of Chef Fernando Arevalo’s favourite dishes. It was not difficult to see why – this dish was nicely grilled to perfection on the outside, yet leaving the interior flavourful and tasty. It soon became our favourite dish as well!

Truffled Chervil Root with squash gnocchi, comte cheese, egg yolk and alba white truffles (SGD $66). This has got to be a case of luxury on the table-top – the melt-in-the-mouth truffles coupled with its condiment of cheese and eggs was yet another unforgettable dish of the evening.
Chef Fernando Arevalo continued to surprise us with the next dish – Slow Cooked Iberico Pork with cognac apple, apple compote, buttered turnip and dolcemente (SGD $48). The iberico pork was wonderfully done – juicy with a nice texture both on the inside and outside. What really impressed us was how well the apple compote complemented the taste of this dish.
To end off an already delightful evening, we each had a serving of dessert.
This Comice Pear Tart with muscat grapes, saba cremeux, iberico chips and pear sorbet (SGD $22) is a refreshing end to a hearty meal and is highly recommended.
For those who love their sorbets, this must be one of the best you can ever get.
Chocolate Praline with bitter orange jam, chocolate mousse, and olive oil ice-cream (SGD $18). Another great pairing of ingredients, this delectable dish seeks to delight the senses while offering a wonderful conclusion to the evening.
This was a culinary experience that we truly enjoyed. It is the place that I would want to be at, if I am celebrating a special occasion, or if I have business clients to impress.
