Our shopping spree at Platinum Mall led us to the top floor where the food court and restaurants were. We had tried Japanese food at the Fuji Restaurant the last time we were here, and it was a very satisfying experience. This time round, we decided to give the Thai Restaurant Yum Saap a try. It is located right opposite Fuji Restaurant.
The menu comes in not just Thai language, but also English, Chinese and Japanese. Very useful for tourists to place their order.
My order of Tom Yum seafood noodles. Frankly, I still prefer the one at Fifth Avenue MBK. This one is a little too mild for my taste, but it is nevertheless still a good Tom Yum soup. This is only 89 Baht, and that’s only SGD $3.50! That’s like a hawker centre price for a dish at a restaurant!
Tommy and the rest went for safer choices such as rice and noodles. They are very good.
Fruit juices are very popular in Bangkok – considering the all year round hot weather.
Good food, reasonable price and fast service. Thumbs up!
