I am a hard core Potter Fan. From the day I set eyes on the first Potter movie, I knew that I was hooked to this magical world for life. With much anticipation each year, I eagerly waited for each new title in the series to be delivered to my doorstep. I literally watched those Harry Potter kids grow up on set.
The Making of Harry Potter – Warner Brothers Studio Tour
And with so with much trepidation, I watched from the sidelines at the launch of the Warner Brothers Studio Tour on the making of Harry Potter films.
Located at Watford Junction, London, this facility houses the film set and props that were created exclusively for the making of all 8 Harry Potter films.
The Harry Potter studio was opened to the public on 31 March 2012 and is definitely THE place to go for Potter fans. No Potter fans should miss this out. Needless to say, as an adoring Harry Potter fan, I simply must visit this attraction en-route to Iceland. For those of you who had seen at least one of the films, you’ll definitely find something that looks familiar to you. For other Potter fans, every single element of the attraction can elicit some gasps and squeals of delight.
Built like a museum or mega exhibition, the studio tour is mainly a self guided walk. Only a small portion of the tour is guided, and visitors can spend as much time as they like viewing the authentic sets and props from the film. Read on for some of the highlights of the attraction.
